really liked it

Overall this was an easy, quick, and enjoyable read. I had a few minor complaints, but really, who doesn't want to read about a mixture of witches and vampires.
First, let's get my complaints out of the way-- why would her dad wait so long to get in contact with her? And it seems like such a build up for an ending that was pretty anticlimatic to me. I am holding out hope though that this is just an awesome beginning, where all of the setting up is done in the first book.
What I liked: the smoking hot men! This is a well done love triangle, one witch, one vampire, each relationship has its complications, but both guys are desirable. Ana is also a good narrator, and I could really step into her shoes. Tate Hallaway has a smooth and flowing writing style, and she wrote the guys so well that I just can't choose. I really devoured the story.
I can't wait until the next one!
