An interesting book about K2 in 2008 - a year when a number of climbers died on one climb. Less than 300 people have successfully climbed K2, compared to thousands with Everest. Still unclear why so many people died, despite the author's attempt to analyze. I found Jon Krakauer's book on Everest, Into Thin Air, a more satisfying mountain climbing tale.
