really liked it
bookshelves: 17th-century, france, historical-fiction, keepers, royals

A tale of several generations of women involved in the palace of Versailles, full of romance and splendour. One of my favourites of Laker's novels.

Misfit This is my favorite of Laker's books, although I do like This Shining Land a lot as well. A bit different than her usual formula.
