it was ok
bookshelves: fiction, uf-pnr, abandoned

I so much wanted to like this series. I liked the sound of it, loved the covers and a couple of friends liked it. What a pity that I didn't like it!

Zoe was a right royal pain in the rear end, whining, complaining, whining some more and keeping up a sort of series of thoughts that bored and annoyed me. She does not behave like an adult in any way, more like the whiny YA brat having regular tantrums. She is stupid, dumb, reckless and moronic and I couldn't stand the sight of her. The dialogue reduces her to being about 7 years old and it drove me nuts! Explain to me what any intelligent man would see in her! And don't get me started on her bitch of a mother.

I could feel brain cells dying every minute that I subjected myself to the oogyness. Yes the dialogue she used included oogy feelings and other assorted crap that had me tearing my hair out. Needless to say I won't be trying this author again.
