This is one of the book that I really enjoyed. There's actions, mystery, a little bit of humor and some scary parts as well.

The Awakening is the second book in the Darkest Powers trilogy. The second book continues the adventure of Chloe Saunders, a necromancer, who are able to see and communicate with ghosts, and as the necromancer term suggests, awake the dead. Together with her other supernatural friends, Chloe continues her journey to find the truth about herself and her powers.

The second book answers some of the unanswered questions from the first book, but still leaves some questions unanswered. I guess you would have to continue to the third book to get the whole story..

The paperback of the third book, The Reckoning is not available until April 2011.. It's too long.....
