it was amazing
bookshelves: family-saga, literary, love, multicultural, quirky-characters, contemporary, curren-modern-time-frame

This book by a Canadian author deserves a wider audience as it is a quiet gem of a novel centering on the Crew Indians living in a remote Canadian bush town, their interconnected lives and histories. "Lush" writing and very real characters.

George Rife I'm just finishing Boyden's Three Day Road, and liked it a lot, though there's a lot of war violence. Since you liked Through Black Spruce so much you should read Three Day Road, and I'll read Through Black Spruce some time, and we'll discuss :)
