This was a very cute story about Penelope, a 15-year-old governess, at her first job. Her pupils are the three "incorrigiables" of Ashton Place, three children raised by wolves in the woods surround Ashton Place and found by Lord Ashton while hunting one day. Honestly, not much happens in this book other than Penelope and the children getting to know each other, but it's obvious that this is just the set up for a series, so I was OK with that. The writing style is reminiscent of Lemony Snicket, so I think this series will appeal to his fans.
