really liked it

A surprisingly readable biography on Shakespeare. Much of the book is based on speculation, as precise details on the Bard's life are difficult to come by. But as far as educated guesses go, the ones within this book were pretty convincing. Most importantly, however, was the fact that reading this book truly enhanced my understanding of many of Shakespeare's plays, offering brilliant perspectives through which one can/should view them all.
