Denial (psychological)

"Denial consists of the refusal to accept a past or present reality and is most commonly employed to protect the host from their own negative traits; to protect them from the repeated memories of negative actions.
It's a self defence mechanism employed by aspects of the subconscious mind in an attempt to protect emotional and psychological wellbeing."

Yeah, right.

I liked this second book much more than the first one! It was so action-packed, I seriously couldn't put it down. Too many twists and turns for my poor heart to bear.
Eventually I felt the characters grow on me, in Legend I was more detached. I'm happy about this.
(view spoiler)

Now I only need the last book.
