I started this and didn't enjoy some of the vivid descriptions the author used but soon enough I warmed very up to it. It's actually 2 books and conclusion. The first from Belimai's POV the second from Will's with the conclusion once again in Belimai's. I did enjoy getting to see both sides of the story though not of the same events. Belimai was a vivid character while I needed to look harder for Will's. Wonderful alternate world which was able to eventually suck me in. When book two hit it was a bit of a jar with quite a bit of time lost. I did believe the story had holes and considering there was a HFN ending I was disappointed with the lack of the character's actually talking to each other. I would love to read more stories set in this world:)

Issendai Agreed! At first I didn't like Belimai's voice--overrich for my taste--but the story kept me going. It was neat to see the transition to Will's voice, which was more restrained and which focused on completely different things. It takes a talented writer to pull off two different voices that well.
