It was a page turner with its short chapters and tense subject matter. Early one morning two little girls disappear. We know more than nothing about what has happened but not enough, it is one of those kinds of stories. It is written in the voices of a series of characters including the little girls themselves, the parents of each child and the police who search for them. I thought it could have aptly been named Stupid women who Marry Evil Men and Have Children. Course, this doesn't give you all the information, I mean there is evil and there is evil. It isn't happy reading.
