it was ok

The description of the book sounded interesting, but honestly it was horribly written with the author going off on tangents trying to make it autobiographical with odd connections that didn't work. It was painful to read at times. The part we're all waiting for doesn't show up until halfway through the book, that's about 12 chapters of her life that we don't really want to get into.

These tangents go off randomly, from talking about the palace of the prince to an oyster to the first time she ate an oyster. Really? Don't you have editors for this?

It was a huge let down, the cattiness and girl backstabbing that we were waiting for because it was in the description was over in a chapter. 300 somewhat pages later, I wanted my time back.
