it was amazing
bookshelves: 2015-read, 5-star-rating

I think with each book I fall more in love with Diana Gabaldon's writing, and amazing ability to come up with these ideas while staying historically accurate. I cannot imagine the amount of research and planning that goes into each book.

Honestly, I was worried about joining Jamie and Claire 20 years later - but it's like they've never been apart. Even with Jamie's secrets almost tearing the apart, love wins and they are suddenly back to their old lives of Jamie getting into some sort of trouble and needing to vanish for a bit. unfortunately, this time his nephew, Ian, is in trouble and they are off to the Caribbean to save him.

Overall I loved the third installment to the Outlandet series; however, some parts seemed far fetched - yet they worked out and were integral to the plot. I'm excited to pick up book four, Drums of Autumn, and pick back up with my #1 Man crush and the amazing Claire!
