it was ok
bookshelves: julias-books

The description says it all. This is a little longer than I would have liked being that it wasn't all that fun to read and kind of, well, boring.
The Ostrich is cheap and the Elephant knows how to spend money to have a good time. The Elephant pays for Ostrich to go to the carnival ahead of time and sticks a coupon in his newspaper making him think the trip is free. They both have fun and the Elephant comes clean in the end. Ostrich learns his lesson and life goes on.
Nothing special and it wasn't any great fun to read. I could actually see Julia growing bored and whittled down a few sentences to get through it faster.
I don't really have the heart to give it one star though so it gets two.
