Toss up between 4 & 5 stars for this one. I gotta say I was kinda confused in the beginning. I thought I missed a page or something and had to go back and start over. Other than the few confusions I had in throughout the start of each issue, the story kept me very much interested. It's very much a twisted and horrific tale. I would not recommend it to the faint of heart. Seriously, some f-up $h!t went down with the characters in this volume. I literally was thinking, "Neil Gaiman you write for children!" On that note, kids should never read this graphic novel which is weird because I heard about Sandman from the YA book "The astonishing adventures of fanboy and goth girl" by Barry Lyga. The characters in that book went on and on about the Sandman which really piqued my interest. Before I go on about another novel The Sandman delivers a very unique tale that will capture any fans of the horror genre.
