I like the Buffy series, the clever script writing but these stories, left a lot to be desired. The one thing JK Rowling has shown the world is that young readers can handle big words in a book and big themes. These stories insulted the intelligence of a ten year old with their simplistic writing style. I am sure the repackaged covers are to cash in on the paranormal romance genre but .... really. If we had the Buffy series as a tome that gave greater depth to her character and built the stories into darker themes, rather than fairy flossed baddies would have been much better. Do yourself a favour, skip these books invest in the graphic comics/novels and you will have a better reading experience.
