The God of the Hive (Mary Russell, #10)
This book picks up immediately where The Language of Bees abruptly finishes - they're essentially two halves of the one story. As others have said, this is more into thriller territory than a real mystery - Russell and Holmes are undercover and on the run, hiding both from the police and the killers who are looking for them. Throw in a whole bunch of political intrigue, a funeral, a quirky character or too, and you've got this book - it's a bit of a muddle at times, but heads along at a fast pace and I quite enjoyed it. Not the same 'Holmes & Russell solving a mystery' style stories that you got earlier in the series though, and I think I prefer those.
