I picked this book up a couple of months ago, because the story sounded great, the book had tons of positive ratings/ reviews and I absolutely *loved* Melanie Rose's "Coming Home".
After about 30 pages into the story I took a look at the last 2-3 pages to see how it ends and how the "problem" would be solved (yeah, I'm THAT kind of reader!!), I'm always way too curious... I must say that I was disappointed and sad about the ending (although I loved the beginning), but still wanted to finish the book, yet I couldn't bring myself to continue it, I was too depressed about the ending so I put it aside.
Last sunday it bothered me to no end to have an unfinished book lying around (especially considering the fact that I loved Mrs Rose's other book and the promising beginning of this one) so I picked it up again and read it in only one sitting! That's how great it is! The end was accurate and I really loved it!
So, if there are any impatient readers like me out there, who put the book aside, I can only tell you to pick it up again ASAP, because you'll not be as disappointed as you might think!
I can't wait to put my hands on Melanie Rose's latest book "Down to Earth"!

Melanie Rose Wow - I just came across your review - thanks Sonja! I'm so glad you loved Could it Be Magic. Just so readers in the US know, Could it Be Magic is out in the US under the title Life as I Know It. Melanie

Sonja I just wrote what it really was like ;) I also have to add that I love the rebirth aspect in your books! I saw that you've read some literature on that topic and I might read one of those books in the future, sounds very interesting..

Melanie Rose Yes,I've always hoped that we reincarnate and that this life is just a small part of who we really are. In my book Coming Home my character Kate is regressed to find a previous life existence and I acually underwent hypnosis as part of my research for the book!

Sonja I want to believe in reincarnation as well and I saw some interesting documentaries on German TV! Also about hypnosis! Must have been quite an experience for you, right? I would like to do that sometime too! Have you had a good and successful hypnosis? I liked the thought in Coming Home that our souls and the souls of our beloved ones are connected in some way throughout our lives...

Melanie Rose I particularly like the idea that our 'family' of souls that we reincarnate with in each life need not be related physically. Two of my four sons are adopted and I like to think we are meant to be together. In each of my books, Could it be Magic, Coming Home and Down to Earth my main character makes her 'family' from physically unconnected people who are thrown together and choose to stay as a family.
