did not like it

I dont know wtf I just read but it was awful. This was my first Picoult book and may very well be my last for all the hot mess 35 pages managed to be. The story could have been interesting but the writing was poorly done. Loose ends all over the place. Didn't explain the things that were somewhat wrapped up. The main character wasn't terribly likable. And the ending was so abrupt I literally didn't even realize it had ended until i ended up in an excerpt for another book. Also I don't know who she talked to when doing research on this book but the parts about the con artists were more on point than anything else...
Hot mess...I definitely wouldnt recommend.

Aarann She's pretty hit and miss (often miss). I actually enjoyed My Sister's Keeper. I don't know how it compared to the movie because I didn't see the movie, but if you decide to give her another try, you might like that one. No promises, but I thought it was good (the problem was it made me ugly-cry, so I can't read it again).

Heather I actually like her books but not this one and definitely not Leaving Time!

Heather Hocking This book is a prequel to Leaving Time. The main character is a character in that book and it really isn't good if you haven't read Leaving Time. I recommend Leaving Time if you want to understand what you read in this book. My personal favorites of hers are My Sister's Keeper and Lone Wolf if you want to give her another try.
