Book #1 in the Pink Carnation series

An entertaining, if light, riff on the theme of the Scarlet Pimpernel series by Baroness Orczy. Modern day scholar finds clues about a mysterious rescuer and spy during the French Terror; secret letters and the like tell the real story. Fun, but not too serious Regency romances.
