really liked it

This is a very sweet book, which will appeal to anyone who has ever suffered from puppy love, of the most literal kind.

Although I won this as a "giveaway"' , thank you, I would not have been dissapointed had I spent my own hard earned cash on it.

I read it in a couple of days, but it would also have served well as a "dip into" book as it is really a collection of vignettes. Not surprising, as it was derived from a series of magazine articles.

That said it could have benefited from more emotional highs and lows, the pup might disagree, but sadly that may come through the years. The puppy never had to save anyone stuck in a well or save a horse from a deadly rattlesnake, thankfully that is real life, not "Lassie" life.

All in all a very appealing book, beautifully designed and put together, and I was glad to have been introduced to sweet Sally, the smelly psycho dog. Recommended as a "feel good" read for anyone, except canino-phobes
