it was amazing
bookshelves: nook, keepers

Every now and then I get really lucky and find a book that I fall in love with. This was one of those books, and one that I consider to be one of the best to come out of 2010 (so far). Two lonely people meet, and begin a very curious relationship, one that baffles relatives and friends. It's not a story that begins in the usual way either, and the various elements and twists were great fun to read along the way. It's not very long, and easy to take in during an evening. It is also one of the best books that I have ever read about love and friendship. Not to mention, two priceless Purdeys.

I hope that the next novel that Helen Simonson is just as good as this one. I'm going to be looking out for it.
