really liked it

I started reading 1001 Nights a little over a year ago as a side-quest. While I am disappointed that Robin Williams did not make an appearance (nor were there any catchy musical numbers while riding magic carpets), it was an interesting endeavor nonetheless. Potential for deeper textual analysis abounds. And certainly it captures a unique story-telling style (I should say 'styles' I suppose) that have been quite influential in the literary world and for that reason I am glad to have read them (and also to say that I have actually read the tales of Aladdin, Sinbad, Maruf the Cobbler, and other well-known and oft-referenced names).
