Actually listened to this "book on CD" .. an okay young adult novel, if not a little bit predictable. Good pace of action, okay dialogue. Plot and charactor development could have used a little work, but I did jump into the middle of a series, so the character part is a little understandable for the main, but not the supporting cast. My comment on that, I just wasn't engaged enough to really care that much about the charactors.

Young Alex Rider is an average teenager, except he also happens to be a spy. This is kind of a cross between Young Indie Jones meets Harry Potter 007. Don't want to give too much away as it is a thriller type spy novel for young readers (completely appropriate for about 8 on up, maybe younger. There is references to killings, but nothing too graphic).
