This (handmade) book is indeed a piece of art itself! It consists of 31 images (plus 4 additional loose images which can be framed), with each image being a silk-screen print of an original painting created by various tribal artists in India. The images depict various animals found in India: boar, tiger, lion, deer, snake, buffalo, cow, bulls, cat, dogs, monkey, lizard, anteater, elephant, foxes. Many, but not all, animals are depicted in multiple images by different tribal artists, which makes it very interesting to compare different styles and their use of distinct colors and folk motifs. This would be an EXCELLENT gift for animal and book lovers.
