really liked it

I was a little skeptical at first at what seemed like an overly idealistic/utopic gender progressive high school, but both the idealism and the realities of the story completely won me over by the end.

Paul is the protagonist in a town where there isn't really a straight scene or a gay scene, it's all kind of mixed. The quarterback is a drag queen, and the party planning committees are THE extra-curricular thing to join. The premise is very fun and wouldn't-it-be-nice-if-like-were-actually-like-that, but what really carries the story is Paul's character arc as he falls in love, messes up and has to figure out how to make things right again.
