Janzen is an below-average writer who inflicts more than her share of vapid wit on her readers. This is less of a memoir than a rant; sadly she has yet to deeply evaluate her causes; or possibly she is unable to transfer authenticity to the page. Nowhere near the likes of Anne Lamott or Don Miller: no comparison. Shallow. She gets 2 stars from me because there are mildly funny episodes in the book - but even those are salted with lame minutia. Sadly i think the fact this has been published is more telling than the book itself.
