it was ok

I couldn't really get into this. The characters weren't that interesting and neither were their subplots around envy or racial identity. Even the main character's psychological transformation was boring.
Arcudi's gory style usually works for the Mask, Aliens, or Terminator, but this just seems to be unfocused and out-of-place.
