Similar in quality to the christmas trees of my youth, which in memory twenty years later tower in their stature larger than could ever have been possible, The Tempest by Shakespeare has immesurably deepened and grown since I last read it as mandatory reading in the eighth grade. A particularly pleasant surprise was my appreciation of the lyrical nature of the verses which I struggled with (along with many other things) in high school. The Barnes and Noble edition that I read from was well constructed and allowed easy interpretation of difficult passages and now dated terms.
