Well, I always enjoy a John Grisham novel. This one was written in 1999, and I guess I missed it back then. I'm giving this book a high rating because for the type of book it is for me, which is a "just fun reading" book, it was really good. I actually couldn't put it down sometimes and couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen.

This sounds like a "spoiler", but it isn't, because it all happens in the first chapter (which really got me hooked): a man with an 11-billion-dollar fortune rewrites his will moments before jumping to his death and leaves everything to a daughter nobody knew he had who is a missionary living in the jungles of Brazil. A washed-up lawyer who just gets out of rehab is sent to find her, while the billionaire's ex-wives and children battle to get what they think they deserve. There was a good mix of action in the jungle search and law stuff with the relatives contesting the will.
