Very disappointing.

I'd been surprised before by how much I enjoyed And Then He Kissed Her, so I was expecting a similar reaction to this book. However, I didn't think the story here had any real substance and I didn't really enjoy the main characters.

For instance, it felt like it took a million years to get through this book even though it wasn't that long. Yet it simultaneously felt like nothing happened (because nothing really did happen). And there was nothing particularly wrong with the main characters, but I had a hard time with Daphne because she was so overly emotional and sensitive that I couldn't relate to any of her outbursts. I understand that's more to do with me than with her character, but it still affected my enjoyment of the story.

I can't say I'd recommend it.
