For some reason, this is what I can read right now. I've tried non-fiction, fantasy fluff, sci-fi fluff -- but fluffy mysteries appear to be the fluff I'm getting through right now. I'm giving this one a good rating because I thought the story would be super predictable. The mystery is just ok, but for some reason I like the guy and the cat. But then, I knew so little about the series when I started it, that I didn't even know that the main human was a guy. But I like this book a lot as the first in a series.

It's a little surprising that I'm just getting around to these now. They've been out forever, it seems.

Eileen The only thing I would warn you about regarding this series is that the later books are pretty insane (I believe there are at least 30 of them). The early ones are very enjoyable, but the last one I read was just bizarre.
