This is the third book in the Scarlett Wakefield series. I came across this series when searching for available ebooks from my library before going on a trip. Kiss Me, Kill Me, the first book in the series, just happened to be available, and I'm so glad that I got it! I am a sucker for anything British, so the fact that these books are set in England was a total win for me right from the get go.

I will admit - this book was a bit boring for me compared to the first two. It didn't seem to have as much drama or suspense and almost seemed to drag a bit at some points. I loved Scarlett in the first two books, but she kind of irritated me during this book. The author portrayed her as a very clingy, insecure girl, which is not how she came across before.

I won’t spoil the ending, but the last 1/3 of the book was by far the best and definitely left me wanting more. I truly hope a fourth book is on its way because it has the potential to be fantastic!
