description

When all was said and done, I felt icky and I had to take some pondering time before writing my review.

It all sounded so promising -- ancient cave art and archaeologists, a fire revealing a centuries-old book in code, mystery and intrigue. As a whole, it was just really sad and pointless.

I admit that I try to avoid books that will bring me down. I don't mind a cathartic book as long as there is a bright spot. NO LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL HERE.

Thank goodness I received this free in exchange for a review and didn't actually PURCHASE it.

So, in my humble opinion, step away from the book and run. Here's a cute cephalopod to lighten the mood. He's got the right idea.
