Windy City: A Novel of Politics
Ever since I first taught an American Politics in Fiction class a few years ago, I've been on the lookout for good political fiction that focuses on something other than war or international intrigue. There's not much of it, and unfortunately, Simon's book doesn't add to my meager pile. He tries *way* too hard and much of the dialog is extremely stilted and unnatural. I gave up after 40 or so pages.
