really liked it

Branwell’s baby sister, Nikki, has had a head injury and is in a coma and no one knows for certain what happened. It is unknown whether she will survive. It all began with a 911 call. Afraid and shaken, Branwell dials the phone, and unable to tell the operator that his baby sister was breathing funny and wouldn't wake up because he has lapsed into silence, unable to speak. He was struck mute. Vivian, the au pair hired to take care of the baby, told the emergency workers that Nikki had been dropped and shaken by Branwell. Luckily, Connor, Branwell’s friend, doesn't believe that his friend did it. He knows that Branwell loves his new sister too much.

This is the beginning of Connor's detective work. With Branwell giving him people to talk to and clues to investigate by using flashcards and blinks, he is in search of the truth. With the help of his adult sister Margaret, Connor begins to unravel the roots of Branwell's silence. But is it be enough to bring Nikki out of her coma and Branwell out of his isolation?

Something that I learned from the book is to pay more attention to my surroundings and certain situations. It is important to be attentive at all times.
