it was amazing
bookshelves: romance

Thoughts: I really enjoyed Dallas and Nikki's was interesting to watch them dance around each other neither one thinking the other was really interested in them (both for different reasons of course). Dallas of course is tired of stick figure women and ready for one with some real curves! - and, of course, Nikki has trouble believing that....since women are brainwashed into believing that's what all men want! That's certainly what her ex seemed to want! All he seemed to do was criticize her at every turn - but for some reason she's convinced herself she loves the lunkhead. And Dallas, of course is convinced that she's still hung up on her ex - even though he wishes he could get her hung up on him instead.....It's just a tangled mess of funny, charming, and endearing moments.

Sure, it's a little unbelievable, a little cliché, but that doesn't detract from just the sheer fun of this story. The author tells it well, and it reminds me a little bit of Wallbanger by Alice Clayton. It's not quite on that scale, but I think fans of that book would enjoy this one as well.
