Stevie and Gabe are together and happy, but both have careers that keep them busy and they haven't had much time together lately. Stevie is concerned that Gabe will get bored with her so she starts scheming to plan special things to keep Gabe excited about their sex life. Finally she decides that what they need is a night at the club where their sexual adventure began, but things are not the same as when Gabe was in charge and the club is not the safe space it once was.

Since we get this story through both Gabe and Stevie's perspectives, it can be tough knowing that neither character has a reason to be concerned while watching them both struggle. Gabe has some pretty awesome plans, but they take a lot of time and energy. He is trying to surprise Stevie by revealing everything once it is complete, but starts to realize that their relationship is taking a hit in the interterm. Stevie's last relationship ended after the sex ran cold and the relationship lost its heat. She doesn't want that to happen between her and Gabe, and old insecurities start to arise. It was great to spend more time with these characters, and see the evolution of Gabe and Stevie's relationship. I have enjoyed these short, hot reads, and would like to continue with the series as more installments are released.
