The Last Page is a story of Caliph, a young and reluctant King of Stonehold, and of Sena, Caliph's former lover and a witch who has been sent to spy on the King. She is torn between her duty and her love for the man. filled with intrigue, suspense, and mystery, Huso's debut novel is an impressive story.

I have to admit, I felt like reading this book was a daunting task. When I started reading, I kept feeling lost in the storyline and had to reread several passages. The further I got in the story, however, the elevated writing seemed to no longer effect me and I found myself quite enjoying the story!

My advice to readers who feel lost overwhelmed by the writing is to keep with it; the story will open up and you will find yourself craving more!
