Short about how Michael was turned into a vampire. Michael Bishop ends up being Thomas's second in command, the one that he trust with everything including Juliana. This glimpse allows you into Michael's soul and his roots. He was a timid man who was a bastard child that his father never had use for. His father uses his love for his mother to make Michael do things things that he doesn't want to do. One of those things is feed a vampire the bishops have captured and make sure the creature eats. The creature ends up escaping and taking Michael with him. He turns Michael against his will and ends up being no better than his father, as far as forcing him to do things that he doesn't want to do. On this path of death and destruction, he meets his salvation, Thomas, who sees potential in him and gives him a choice.
