From small town Louisiana, Rory sets out on an adventure he is sure will bring him the love of his life - Ran Yamane. Heading to the Anime Expo in LA with a fist full of dollars, a broken down car and a heart full of dreams, finding out Ran was a man turns out to be the least of his troubles.

Threatened, abducted, beaten, and facing death, Rory has a few moments to rethink his intentions. Rory's decision to stay with Ran (even if the man is male) comes from anger, his sense of fairness and a stubborn protective streak the beautiful man invokes in him. A week traveling cross-country, staying in shady places and living it up with the best, sharing meals and a sleeping bag, Rory is certain he knows what to do, and sets out to do it, even if it might cost him everything.

In "Drawn Together," ZA Maxfield has created the ultimate of tales. The classic road trip combines with stalker horror, anime otaku and a fumbling romance to give the reader a unique story of love and trepidation, laughter and confusion and ultimately, a puppy full of love and two men who embarked upon a journey neither expected but wouldn't change.
