really liked it

This book sheds light on the awkwardness of being a teenager and the reality of being bullied. Young, self-conscious Maleeka's eyes are opened when a corporate power-house of a woman, Miss Saunders, enters a program to teach at Maleeka's small town school. The best line of the book is when she offers the advice "you got to see yourself with your own eyes. That's the only way you gonna know who you really are."
