really liked it

I was loving this for the first couple hundred pages then ran out of steam a little in the middle but I'd still recommend it. Very readable vampire/apocalypse novel that does some really good world-building when it jumps 100 years into the future after a military experiment goes wrong and unleashes vampire-like creatures that wipe out almost all of civilization. If you read a lot of comics and stuff like this then none of this is going to seem that new and I couldn't really warm up to the set of characters that occupy most of the book but it's a still a pretty engrossing read and I'll probably come back for the sequel.
