it was amazing

The Allotter is a story based on Greek mythology. I was slightly confused in the beginning. I’m not sure if that was by design or not. However, it worked for me. The main character, Evie, was also confused about the changes occurring in her life. I learned as she learned which made things interesting. Although Evie has always had the ability to tell when someone is dying, a gift that has shaped her life and career, she is in denial and wants to believe she is a normal human. As strangers (with equally strange abilities) enter her life and act as if they know her, she continues to reject the possibility that her life may not be what she has always believed. The characters are well developed and the story has a good flow to it. This is the first book in a series and I look forward to the next installment.
