audiobook reread. I've probably read each of the books in the Discworld series at the very least one time, the most maybe 4 times. This is the first time that I've consumed the Discworld books in their publication order, and so, it's the first time that I've watched Pratchett's progress, either his picking up or laying down of kernels for the next story. Plucking a single thought from one book and turning it into the plot for the next. It's made me love these books on a whole next level.

And now I understand where I got the idea for my DW tattoo. At the end of this book, when Bill Door, i mean, DEATH allows the Death of Rats and the Death of Fleas to continue existing, the Death of Rats asks DEATH if he can have a cat for his transportation animal, and DEATH says no, he can have a dog, probably a terrier.

Well, DoR, you ride Greebo in mind. and on my leg.
