it was amazing

The book "Slippery Slope" by Lemony Snicket is about the Eldest Baudelaires driving to there doom in runaway caravan and Sunny is sitting on the lap of Count Olaf's girlfriend, Esme Squalor, in a car that is driving up the Mortmain Mountain to meet up with two suspicious people that burned down the V.F.D. headquarters. Violet thinks of a way to slow the caravan down for them to get off. As the eldest Baudelaires go up the mountain in order to save there sister, they come across a group of snow scouts and in that group of scouts they find Quigley Quagmire, the third triplet of Isadora and Duncan. He helps them get there sister back from the evil clutches of Olaf and they decided to capture Esme, but they chicken out thinking that they would turn into villains, too. When they decide to take Esme back to the top of the mountain to prove that they are working for them, but then they decide to take their masks off once they reach the top. Then the snow scouts show up at the same spot and the two suspicious people call in their trained eagles and they kidnap the snow scouts and Count Olaf and Esme decide to "adopt" Carmelita Splatts, a bratty, mean girl that the Baudelaires had meant while at the academy. The Baudelaires and Quigley get on the sled and ride down the the frozen waterfall to get away from Olaf. They, then, end up falling in the water. Quigley is then separated from the Baudelaires. This book would make more sense if readers would start from the first book and continue until the last one. I enjoyed this book because it had to do with mystery, finding clues, and solving mysteries. I would recommend this book of the series to anyone who enjoys solving problems through clues and facts.
