it was amazing

There are few fantasy works that can lay claim to the kind of game changing impact on an entire genre that greeted the publication of Robin Hobb's now classic first volume in the Farseer Trilogy. The use of first person narration adds greatly to the sense of place and allows for a remarkable connection with Fitz and his many trials and tribulations as acknowledged bastard and secret assassin to the royal Farseer line. Rich in intrigue, friendship and tragedy this really shouldn't be missed by any lover of fantasy or great storytelling.
