Chew On This is an amazing book that is filled with all the information you don't want to know about the fast good industry. It gives you an overview starting from the very beginning of McDonalds to the after math of fast food which is now kids as young as 2 will have permanent damage to their teeth. The facts are outrageous and change your perspective on where you will buy your next burger.

This book teaches you about the history of fast food, and shows the impact it has had on society. You especially learn about the chemicals in the food you've never heard about before, how junk food is marketed (and why kids make great targets), how animals are raised and killed, and what it is doing to our bodies. It even covers how workers at fast food restaurants and slaughter houses are treated. One high school student worked for 19 1/2 hours straight at a McDonalds with only a 1/2 an hour break and got paid with a bag of candy.

Anyone of any age can be sucked into the book from the first page, it's as if the author is personally talking to you. I loved every page of this book.
