Well, shoot, I was planning on using Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle of Time as a touchstone in one of the stories I'm writing! But I'm sure I couldn't have done it half so well as in this masterpiece.

A wonderful example, like Holes, of weaving all sorts of clues together into a "wow, that's so cool!" ending, with an added bonus: the time-travel element.

Like Miranda, the MC, I grew up in the 70's and it was fun to revisit many forgotten things like the $20,000 Pyramid game show and erasable pens.

I also loved how the Laughing Man changed my perspective of the homeless.
