it was ok
bookshelves: vampires, weres-shifters, romance, urban-fantasy

I was not overly impressed with the first Dead End Dating book, and this one didn't bring much more to the table. Lil is, nicely put, not really my kind of person. Often times I get along great with people who are not my kind of people, but Lil...just isn't my type.

She's not so smart. Like, at all.

The plot was very poorly executed. In the beginning, Lil is declared wanted for murder, so she goes into "hiding." At the end, they catch the real murderer in about one page, with very little lead up, clues, or detective work. Honestly, it's just dead boring.

The most I can say is that it's a somewhat humorous diversion from real life. It's not terribly hard to follow the story and forget about real life for a while. The downside is that it's not really a great story to get lost in.
